Women with natural hair will take a special interest in our latest featured business. Business owners, Jessica Boyd and Maureen Ochola are revolutionizing the natural hair industry. In the words of Co-founder Jessica Boyd -  "We want to become the 'Starbucks' of the natural hair industry." With that being said, they are the creators and founders of Naturally Crowned Carolina, South Carolina's first natural hair beauty pageant and they are laying the foundation for Quench Natural Beauty Boutique, a store dedicated to educating and addressing the needs of all things related to naturally afro-ethnic textured hair. Both businesses are currently based in Columbia, South Carolina, with future plans to expand.

Naturally Crowned Carolina is an amazing concept, and it has changed the way young African-American women perceive themselves and their hair. The pageant was created to celebrate the power and beauty of women who are unafraid to express themselves authentically and unapologetically. Their first pageant was held on April 12, and was a huge success. Please visit their site to see pictures of the contestants and learn more about this year's winner. If you're interested in serving as a sponsor for next year's pageant or interested in receiving more information, please contact them directly via the site: http://www.naturallycrowned.com/contact/.

Quench Natural Beauty Boutique is a game changer. Natural hair is becoming more and more prevalent amongst African-American women for a variety of reasons. Quench is surfacing at a time when customers are in dire need of natural hair products that are affordable, high quality, and readily available. They are focused on providing customers with an unparalleled experience, with a specific focus on creating a culturally relevant environment that empowers and uplifts the community. For more details and additional information on wholesale and/or investor opportunities, please contact them at info@quenchsc.com!
