I Am Black Business 2016 New Year Resolution and Challenge

As we come to the end of 2015, our community truly finds itself at crossroads. The last couple of years have definitely shown us that the we have not reached the goal of racial equality in this country or the world. If you have been keeping up with I Am Black Business, you know that our goal is to empower our community through economics. We help consumers find great black owned businesses as well as provide valuable services (look out for announcements in 2016) to black business owners.

In 2016, we challenge you to do more than talk the talk, but walk the walk and start using services like IABB to discover and patronize black owned businesses more often. There is absolutely no excuse with the numerous black business directories that are now available (we hope you use our directory). We also challenge black consumers to provide constructive feedback to black owned businesses. IABB plans to provide capabilities for private messaging black owned businesses.

For black business owners, we challenge you to take your services and products to the next level. Our directory provides numerous businesses that can help you in many areas from marketing to web design to printing to photography. Any improvements to your business will not only make your business more appealing to black consumers but also make your business more appealing to the entire population. If you are looking to get to that next level and aren’t afraid of success, step up to the plate and leverage our directory to improve your business.

As 2016 rolls in, let’s all commit to taking action. Every day, we all have the opportunity to make an impact no matter how small or large on the status of the black community.
