Hi, my name is Cecile Johnson, and this site is my vision. It is in response to a question that Nelson Mandela asked in the 2002 Millennium Development Goals Report. A dismal report that broke my heart and started me on this journey in 2008. <br /><br />It is my response to my ancestors calling me to task, to do something more than talk and theorize. It is my response to the children here and yet to come. I am obligated to protect them and create a future they can live with, thrive and be successful in.<br /><br />I hope that you will join me as we gather the village members and remember we are an African people. We are a communal culture. I am calling the village.
